When the Virginia legislature begins its 2024 session, lawmakers committed to protecting abortion access, defending democracy, and improving the lives of all Virginians will hold governing power in both chambers.
As our electoral work helped build new governing power in Virginia, majorities that our Giving Circles community helped fuel in 2022 across states like Michigan, Minnesota, and Pennsylvania passed a record number of policies that will make millions of lives better. Our policy work supported lawmakers as they lowered costs for families by providing free school meals to millions of children and capped prescription drug costs, made communities safer with gun violence prevention policies, and so much more.
None of these policies would be possible without the new governing power fueled by our Giving Circles. That’s why we’re excited to share our 2023 Stories of Impact Report — a celebration of the focused, strategic impacts they power in the states.
