Compared to Trump’s first term, when Democrats had seven state-level trifectas, today, Democrats hold 15 as well as either a chamber or the governor’s mansion in 12 additional states. State lawmakers who are committed to improving lives can mitigate the worst of Trump’s policies and secure a brighter future for our country, even during a second Trump presidency.
