Help these 2026 Giving Circles close their gaps!

Oct 5, 2026

In every state where The States Project is working to build or defend power this November, Giving Circles are stepping up to fuel our work. These are folks who understand the power of state legislatures and are organizing their friends, family, and neighbors to collectively direct resources to the state legislative races where they’re needed most.

100% of the amount raised by Giving Circles for The States Project’s electoral work goes out the door to fuel evidence-based tactics in strategically targeted states.

Now, with just a few weeks left until their fundraising deadline, these Giving Circles need your help to close their gaps.

Arizona

Led by Tucson resident Cathy since 2022, the Arizona Pathfinders is “a group of friends and acquaintances located in Arizona who share a respect for the democratic principles necessary for a diverse, compassionate, and proud country to thrive.”

Iowa

This long-time Giving Circle led by Ilene and Linda has expanded its focus to Iowa, after co-leader Linda moved back to her hometown of Des Moines last year.

Michigan

Founded in 2022 by a group of friends and neighbors near Detroit, Michigan Strong is working to flip the State House and defend the 1-seat majority in the State Senate that they helped win by fewer than 400 votes. “We are a small and committed group, aware that our Michigan government is crucial in maintaining our rights and improving our lives in this purple state.”

Minnesota

Colleen and her grandson Charlie are taking action to help their fellow Minnesotans in every way they can (More on their work here!).

Montana

This Missoula-based Giving Circle is new to TSP this year and is working to hold together a bipartisan coalition of lawmakers with a strong track record of improving lives for all Montanans.

North Carolina

This Giving Circle is led by North Carolinian Maryjane, who first joined us in 2024. “We will keep working to shift the balance of power in the legislature until it represents all North Carolinians!”

Nevada

Las Vegas-based leader Deborah joined us in 2024. “Blue Nevada is working with The States Project to support Nevada state lawmakers who are committed to improving the lives of the people they serve.”

New Hampshire

Giving Circle Leader and New Hampshire resident Ralph has worked with The States Project since 2022. “The New Hampshire legislature is crucial in determining policy on all major issues from reproductive and voting rights to guns, education and climate.”

Ohio

Hope and Haleigh are Cincinnati-natives and have been supporting key states with TSP since 2023! This year, they’re excited to be focused on their home state.

Pennsylvania

Led by a group of friends outside Philadelphia, Wake Up PA has worked with The States Project since 2018! “Joining our Wake Up PA giving circle is a great way to claim your voice and power, and connect with a community of friends who care about the future.”

Wisconsin

Led by Molly, Esther, and Myriam, from Wisconsin, who joined the TSP community in 2025. Wisconsin Rising is “mobilizing to create meaningful change at home by shifting the balance of power in the Wisconsin State Assembly and Senate.”
