On October 3rd, The States Project withdrew our support from Michigan State House candidate Maurice Imhoff, following credible accusations of egregious wrongdoing. We also requested that Mr. Imhoff return all donations we had previously provided to his campaign.
At The States Project, we lead with our values and principles — including a core conviction that every person should be able to live without fear of violence or abuse. We believe our nation’s elected officials should be held to the highest personal and professional standards in this regard – and we expect our candidates to live up to those standards as well.
